Capoeira is an art form which combines elements of martial arts, dance, acrobatics, ritual and music. It developed through a combination of African ritual tradition and Brazil/Portugal circumstances. The practice of capoeira helps us develop flexibility, coordination, endurance, lightness of movements and self-discovery. Through the game of Capoeira we learn to fuse movements with rhythm, pay attention to reactions of our partner and create a totally new world of mutual interactions. The training is inseparable from singing of traditional songs and playing of instruments. It is recommended for children, adults without experience and dancers.
